The FTSE MIB (Milano Indice di Borsa) is the main index of the Borsa Italiana. Finance, energy, consumer goods, services... The FTSE MIB covers various sectors of the Italian economy, offering investors a wide range of investment options to diversify their portfolios. In addition to the FTSE MIB, there are other FTSE indices for Italy, such as the FTSE Italia Mid Cap, the FTSE Italia Small Cap and the FTSE Italia All-Share, which represent different tranches of market capitalisation (mid caps, small caps and all caps respectively). The FTSE Italia indices are used in particular as underlying assets for the creation of financial products such as futures, options, index funds and ETFs. The Italian stock market is regulated by the Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB), a guarantee of security and confidence for investors.
